IBROYS Journal

Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 September 2026

These terms cover the use of ibroys.com and the services IBROYS provides. Plain language, because you should be able to read them.

Who we are

IBROYS is a digital marketing and software studio operating from Kerala, India.

We share our registration certificate directly with clients and partners on request. We don't publish the number itself, for the same reason we'd advise you not to: a registration number posted publicly gets scraped and reused by people claiming an association that doesn't exist.

Using this website

You may read, share and quote this site. Please do not copy it wholesale, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or present our research as your own. Where we publish original data, you are welcome to cite it with a link back.

The content here is published in good faith and for general information. It is not professional advice for your specific situation.

How work is agreed

Nothing on this website is a binding offer. Prices, ranges and timelines shown publicly are indicative. Work begins only when both sides agree a written scope of work that states what will be delivered, when, and for how much.

If a written scope of work conflicts with these terms, the scope of work wins for that project.

Payment

Payment terms are set in each scope of work — typically a deposit before work starts and the balance across agreed milestones. Invoices are issued as an export of services from India. Late payment may pause work; we will always tell you before that happens.

Intellectual property — what IBROYS owns

Everything below is the property of IBROYS and is protected by copyright, trademark and database rights under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India), the Trade Marks Act, 1999 (India), and the international treaties India is party to, including the Berne Convention. All rights reserved.

Original research and data (this one matters — please read it)

  • The datasets we compile, including our audits of publicly listed registers
  • Our methodology, the way we frame each study, our tables, charts and conclusions
  • The compiled arrangement of the data, which is protected even where the underlying public record

is not

You are welcome to cite our research with a clear credit and a link to the source page. You may not republish a study in full, present our figures as your own work, or rebuild our tables into your own asset without written permission.

Software and methods

  • Source code, scripts and tooling we write, except where released by us under an open-source licence
  • Our templates, checklists, questionnaires, proposal formats and internal frameworks
  • Our pricing structures and the way we scope work

Not ours, and clearly so

Third-party trademarks, product names and logos mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify those products. Open-source components we use remain under their own licences, and website template assets remain licensed to us by their original authors.

Using our material

You may: read, share and link to anything on ibroys.com; quote short extracts with attribution and a link; cite our research as described above.

You may not, without written permission: copy the site or substantial parts of it; use the IBROYS name, wordmark or logo in your own branding, advertising or domain names; imply a partnership, endorsement or client relationship that does not exist; resell or redistribute our content; use our material to train commercial AI models where that use substitutes for the original.

If you believe something here infringes your rights, or you find our material used without permission, email [email protected] with the URL, a description of the work and your contact details. We act on legitimate notices promptly.

What you own

Once a project is paid for in full, you own the deliverables produced specifically for you — code, designs, content and the accounts they live in.

We keep ownership of anything we brought with us: our pre-existing tools, libraries, internal templates and general know-how. Third-party components (open-source libraries, fonts, plugins) remain under their own licences, and we will tell you which ones a project depends on.

Unless you ask us not to, we may describe the work in general terms in our portfolio. We will not publish confidential details, figures or your data without written permission.

Confidentiality

Anything you share with us about your business stays private. We are happy to sign your NDA before detailed discussions, and we expect the same discretion from you regarding our methods and pricing.

What we need from you

Projects run on your input: content, access to accounts, decisions and approvals. If those are delayed, timelines move. We will flag it rather than quietly slip.

What we do not promise

This matters, so it is plain:

  • We do not guarantee search rankings. No one can. Search engines are third parties whose

systems change without notice. We can guarantee the work we do, not what Google does with it.

  • We do not guarantee specific revenue, leads or conversion rates. Anyone who does is guessing.
  • We do not guarantee third-party platforms. If Meta changes an ad policy, WhatsApp changes its

API rules, or a provider has an outage, that is outside our control.

What we do commit to: doing the work described in the scope, telling you the truth about results, and fixing our own mistakes at no charge.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot legally be excluded.

Ending a project

Either side may end a project in writing. You pay for work completed and costs already committed up to that point; we hand over everything produced so far, and access to the accounts involved. Nothing is held hostage.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kerala have jurisdiction — unless a signed agreement with you states a different forum.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Projects already under way continue under the terms agreed at the time.
